Legend has it that whosoever drinks out of the Holy Grail obtains Immortality.
After a long journey, they found the Holy Grail in an old cave located in the heart of Jerusalem.
Around the same time the Palestinian Government found out about their conquest and bombed the cave. During the explosions, Sergeant Cortez drinks out of the Holy Grail making him Indestructible with super human strength. He passes the Holy Grail to his solders and orders them to drink out of it too.
However, another huge explosion took place and destroyed his army including the Grail. All 300 of his troops die while leaving him the only man standing. After returning back home to Madrid, he became one of the last protectors of the Royal family.
To this present day he is still a Sergeant for the Spanish army and takes direct orders from the prime minister of Spain.
