While working as a robotic engineer in Austin Texas, Veronica Vreeland invented an electric magnetic shielding belt as a tribute to the great powers of SuperMexican. It protects its bearer from physical attacks with the capabilities of flight. One night the Mexican Mafia broke into the facility in search for the belt with the hope of using it against SuperMexican. Veronica Vreeland locked the belt and herself in an office security chamber when the Mafia decided to destroy it by blowing up the building. However, the energy belt protected Miss Vreeland from the lethal blast as it killed everybody else. She now uses the belt to fight crime as Super-American in the great state of Texas. Her and SuperMexican have crossed paths before and have partnered up to take down many Mexican Mafia syndicates in Los Angeles. Although, SuperMexican does not know that she is secretly in love with him.
